Our Charity
The Lady Garden Foundation is a national women’s health charity, raising awareness and funding for gynaecological health. We started in 2014 and initially funded groundbreaking research into the treatment of these cancers at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As the oldest cancer hospital in the world, The Royal Marsden remains one of the largest cancer centres in Europe, with a truly global impact.
The money raised by the Lady Garden Foundation funded cutting-edge studies which we hope will revolutionise the treatment of these cancers. We continue to raise funds and awareness for gynaecological health.

The founders of The Lady Garden Foundation are all committed to helping save the lives of women diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer, having been affected by the diseases in one way or another.
This determined group of women are about as ambitious as their vision, which is not only to change the future of female health, but the way we talk about it too.

At Lady Garden Foundation, we are determined to rid the world of gynaecological cancers; we also know that to do this, we need to change the way we talk about our Lady Gardens.
When we started in 2014, our surveys showed that 41% of women were too embarrassed to go to the doctor about a gynaecological issue, let alone talk to a friend.
We thought it was time for that to change. The more open we are about talking about our bodies, the more we will understand them. The more we understand them, the more likely we are to realise when something is wrong.
Gynaecological cancers have devastating outcomes for women. Each year in the UK, over 21,000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer. This means 58 women receive a gynaecological cancer diagnosis every day. Sadly, of these women, 21 will die from their gynaecological cancer.
