Jenny Halpern Prince MBE

Chairwoman

In 2014, Jenny co-founded The Lady Garden Foundation and became Chairwoman and a Trustee in 2018. She is founder and CEO of Consumer PR & Brand Consultancy agency, Halpern. Halpern is now part of The&Partnership, and therefore WPP. Halpern has created hugely successful campaigns for world class brands in the agency’s 25 year history.

Jenny was deeply involved with the ‘Britain Stronger in Europe’ Campaign, sitting on the board and being the founder and creator of the network Women IN to ensure women’s voices are heard and at the centre of the debate that will shape the future of our country.

In 2012, Jenny founded the youth charity Access Aspiration and in 2023 she was recognised in the King’s honours list and awarded an MBE for her services to young people. Access Aspiration was created to improve social mobility in areas of high deprivation by providing aspirational work experience placements in over 200 of London's leading businesses. To date, it has supported over 15,000 students across London. In recognition of its success and having created a tangible, positive difference for the students, Jenny has also received a Point of Light Award from No10 & Prime Minister David Cameron. Access Aspiration is now a flagship programme of the Mayor’s Fund for London, and Jenny is a trustee of the Fund.

She was on the board of Great Ormond Street Hospital for seven years, and created Save the Day, an arm of GOSH’s Charity, which raised over £1.5 million and allowed Great Ormond Street to purchase much needed equipment for the hospital.

She was on the board of Women’s Aid for six years and created the concept of the Avon Empowering Women Awards.

“I was keen to set up the Foundation alongside my colleagues due to my early experiences with gynae issues. I was diagnosed at 20 with pre cervical cancer cells stage 2 which I had lasered out. I then had years of heartache of not being able to conceive naturally and after 5 years and multiple interventions, we had twin girls via surrogacy and then a boy 6 years later in the same way. I am passionate about shining a light on the gynae problems women face from periods, fertility, menopause onwards and view my role as making an incremental difference to the lives of women.”
